Windows Mobile ist die veraltere Version des mobilen Windows-Betriebssystems für Smartphones von Microsoft. Mit dem Marktstart von Windows Phone wurde Windows Mobile in Windows Phone Classic umbenannt. Die verschiedenen Versionen von Windows Mobile basieren auf der Microsoft Win32 API.
Die erste Version des mobilen Betriebssystems war Windows Mobile 2002, das auf Windows CE 3.0 basierte. Zuletzt wurde im Februar 2010 die Version Windows Mobile 6.5.3 vorgestellt, bei der vor allem auf eine bessere Bedinung mittels Finger beachtet wurde.
